Meet the Team!

Paul Miller
Pastor
Paul is a family man and loves spending time with his wife Natalie and their 6 kids. He grew up on Manitoulin Island and returned to the area in 2024 after being in Eastern Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area for almost 30 years. Paul has had a persistent desire to work in ministry, first through serving on the worship team, volunteering with the youth, and leading a discipleship group. God continued to grow in Paul a strong desire to devote himself fully to Christ and his church. He ensures that Jesus Christ, his crucifixion and resurrection are central to all aspects of ministry.
Paul is currently enrolled in the seminary program at Heritage College.

Kevin & Jewel Hobbs
Seniors Ministry and Hospitality
Jewel’s interest in the Long Term Care in Espanola started 31 years ago. A monthly Hymn Sing was started to encourage the father of a church friend and has been on the Long Term Care's monthly activity calendar ever since. Jewel’s years as a PSW have enabled her to connect with seniors, and she is driven by God’s desire that all should come to a saving knowledge of Jesus.
With the help of wheelchairs, walkers or helpers, the seniors gather for the Hymn Sing to share their love for God, sing or simply listen to the music, and be refreshed by Him.
Jewel and her husband Kevin serve at the church in a number of ways including hospitality and special events.

Now at Calvary Baptist Church of Espanola since 2024, she leads a Ladies Bible Study and sings alongside her husband on the Worship Team. She enjoys spending time with their 6 children playing board games or in the outdoors.
